Kaimapparamban was born on October 1939 in a middle class Catholic Christian family at Cherthala town, which is between Alappuzha (Alleppey) town and Ernakulam (Cochin) city, Kerala, India. After education, became a schoolmaster and worked in several government schools of Kerala, teaching English in middle school classes.
